Normal School,Nagaon

Normal School, Nagaon was established in 1953, At the very beginning, the head of the institution was called the Superintendent. The teachers of M.E. and M.V schools were given Normal Training. It was 3 (three) years course. Practical works were given importance. For all round development different social and cultural activities were performed by the trainees. Priority was given to ‘ Practice-Teaching’ to make them efficient teachers. The it was one year training course. The Normal School, Nagaon give opportunity to all the lower and upper Assam trainees to take their necessary course in due time.
